Basic usage of universal tape
Roll the end to temporarily secure it in place
Cut the tape at an angle of about 60 degrees , and wrap it around once while holding down the end of the tape as you begin to wrap it.
Wrap while pulling
Wrap the tape around the area while pulling it tight so that it overlaps .

Attach the end to the tape and it's done.
If you do not apply the tape so that the entire width is on it, it may peel off. If you fail to do so, remove it or repair the end with a short piece of tape.
