Online Workshop: Assistive Device Making with Universal Tape

To make it easier for participants outside the Tokyo area to join, we are offering an online workshop on making assistive devices!

In this hands-on session, you will learn how to wrap and use silicone-based Universal Tape to create various assistive tools. You’ll gain knowledge of the tape’s features and wrapping techniques, and discover how to apply them in your workplace or at home.

Make everyday utensils and stationery easier to hold and use. Improve your living environment with anti-slip solutions and practical adaptations. The goal is to solve small challenges on the spot!

Workshop Content

• Learn about the features of Universal Tape and basic wrapping methods

• Discover real-life usage examples

• Create your own assistive devices (thick-handled spoon, ring spoon, toothbrush holder)
  ※ The workshop follows the provided textbook, which will be sent in advance.
  ※ You will make the assistive tools shown in the images below.
